Responsibilities
Gathering and documenting business and system requirements from stakeholders and translating them into clear, actionable specifications for developers and technical teams
Analyzing current workflows, system capabilities, and scheduling limitations to automate, enhance, or expand existing systems
Partnering with technical teams to support backend system workflows, enterprise applications, and integrated services
Reviewing and validating data through basic SQL queries to ensure accuracy and consistency
Coordinating system integrations to improve compatibility and enable data sharing across platforms
Consulting with management and business leaders to align system solutions with organizational goals
Preparing cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation decisions
Supporting system expansions or modifications to improve efficiency and accommodate new business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong technical exposure
Experience supporting backend system workflows, enterprise applications, and system integrations
Ability to read and write basic SQL queries for data validation and analysis
Strong understanding of APIs, data mapping, and system integration principles
Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred
MBA or other advanced degree in a related field
Experience supporting mobile applications or field service platforms
Exposure to API testing and documentation tools such as Postman or Swagger
Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS), or ETL and data transformation processes
Experience working within a large enterprise environment or supporting field-based service operations
Prior mentoring experience, including providing guidance and constructive feedback to peers
