Responsibilities
Apply your growing knowledge of programming, electrical design, and engineering problem‑solving to modern manufacturing and automation systems
Assist in the design, programming, and troubleshooting of automated machinery and line control systems that support safe, efficient production
Help develop PLC logic, design industrial controller programs, and contribute to the creation of intuitive human‑machine interfaces (HMIs)
Support electrical design tasks such as drafting and updating control panel layouts, reviewing wiring schematics, and assisting with component selection
Contribute to the development of user applications that monitor and control the production of consumer goods, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Participate in evaluating how products move through automated lines and help design control systems that provide real‑time operational feedback
Work both independently and alongside project teams to support capital projects, system upgrades, and facility expansions
Collaborate with engineers, vendors, contractors, and integrators to gather technical information, support project execution, and maintain clear communication
Travel as needed to client sites to support design, installation, start‑up, or troubleshooting activities under close mentorship from experienced engineers
Make a meaningful impact by conducting yourself with integrity, contributing to a supportive team culture, and strengthening the relationships we build with our clients
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in a bachelor's program in electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, chemical, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline
The ability to organize and support multiple project responsibilities while staying flexible and attentive to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills that help you collaborate effectively with teammates, leaders, clients, and vendor partners
A willingness to travel for installation, start‑up, onsite project support, team meetings, and company‑sponsored learning opportunities
Familiarity with programming concepts, electrical design principles, or tools and software commonly used in controls engineering
Preferred
Co‑op, internship, or project experience related to electrical engineering, automation, PLC programming, or industrial controls
Exposure to or interest in high‑tech environments such as semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, consumer products, or high‑speed manufacturing industries
