Sales Development Representative - Federal
Zscaler is a pioneer and global leader in zero trust security, seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their Federal Sales Development team. The role involves researching and prospecting organizations to generate sales leads and qualify appointments with decision-makers in targeted companies.

Responsibilities
Researching and prospecting into organizations by emailing, calling, networking and other creative means to lead early stage pipelines
Qualifying and scheduling well qualified appointments with main decision makers within global 2000 or "targeted" companies through inbound and outbound leads
Utilizing the CRM to maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
Customer-oriented background (sales, support, or customer service)
Skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, or time and territory management
Preferred
Experience with CRM systems (preferably salesforce.com)
Experience in an outbound-focused sales position
Experience working with Federal customers or a background in the Federal space
