Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of embedded software and firmware engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions for hardware platforms including AI Glasses, Charging cases, and associated NTIs
Mentor and support engineers' growth and success, help them to find and focus on their strengths
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, product) to drive technical innovation in embedded systems
Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve business objectives within the constraints of embedded environments

Required

Proven track record of supporting teams as a highly technical hands on manager
Hands-on Experience in coding for microcontrollers, SOCs, RTOS, and embedded environments
2+ years managing managers, 5+ years managing technical teams
BS / MS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience)

Preferred

Experience in leading teams interfacing with Hardware (sensors, silicon) teams in setting requirements and product tradeoffs
Experience managing joint hardware-software development and associated rapid prototyping projects
Experience with iOS and Android app development
Experience building and leveraging AI to support team productivity and efficiency
