Responsibilities
Advise clients on privacy and data security matters, including regulatory compliance, governance, and transactional support
Assist in developing and implementing proactive compliance programs addressing federal, state, and international privacy and cybersecurity laws
Support matters involving incident response, investigations, and related litigation, as needed
Conduct legal research and analysis related to data protection, cybersecurity, and emerging regulatory frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams on matters involving emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, advertising and marketing, and product development
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of meaningful privacy and data security experience in a law firm or in-house setting
Strong academic credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Active bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice
