Responsibilities

Leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Trauma System's Injury Prevention and Trauma Survivors Network programs to ensure trauma centers have the tools, resources, support, and programs to meet or exceed American College of Surgeons verification requirements and State of Colorado and Kansas designation requirements
Leading the hospital-level Injury Prevention and Trauma Survivors Network programs
Working closely with the Group Directors of Trauma, Trauma Program Managers, and RN Trauma Injury Prevention Specialists to strategically develop, implement, and lead systemwide programs, projects, campaigns, and partnerships that align with the health system's prevention strategy

Required

BSN required
Five years nursing experience
Two years of public health and/or community prevention program leadership
Strong knowledge of public health principles and prevention strategies
Grant writing experience
Public speaking and teaching experience
Current RN license required
BLS from AHA required
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

Preferred

Masters Degree preferred
