Responsibilities
Perform NBIS-compliant inspections of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and traffic support structures
Serve as Inspection Team Leader , managing planning, scheduling, field execution, and reporting
Lead inspection projects of varying size and complexity
Conduct detailed field inspections using appropriate access methods and tools
Review drawings, survey data, aerial imagery, and technical documentation
Support project design efforts in alignment with engineering standards
Manage sub-consultants and internal teams
Assist with proposals and project documentation
Participate in client meetings to discuss scope, findings, and progress
Mentor and manage inspection staff performance
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience performing in-service bridge inspections
Must meet NBIS Bridge Safety Inspection Team Leader requirements (23 CFR 650, Subpart C)
Completion of FHWA-approved bridge inspection training
NHI 130055 & 130053 or NHI 130056
Authorization to work in the United States
