Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy to patients per physician prescription and standard practice guidelines
Monitor patient safety and ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of treatment records, imaging, and technical parameters
Manage supplies and equipment efficiently and report service needs
Provide exceptional patient care and customer service in all interactions
Perform other job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Completion of a formal Radiation Therapy education program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT
0–3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
Certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist – R.T.(T), ARRT
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
Basic knowledge of radiographic and radiation therapy equipment and procedures
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards
Preferred
Familiarity with radiology systems such as RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred
