Specialist I, Talent Acquisition

As a Specialist I in Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for planning and executing a full-cycle recruiting strategy to attract and secure the best talent while serving as a Talent Advisor to hiring managers.

Responsibilities
Manage creative full-cycle recruitment strategies for assigned Associate, intern, and contractor positions, working closely with hiring managers to document and understand job requirements
Leverage resources to proactively source qualified candidates using various platforms and social networks to build a diverse candidate pool
Pre-screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and lead in-person/virtual interviews to evaluate candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers
Negotiate and/or support hiring managers in developing competitive compensation packages
Facilitate various Talent Acquisition presentations such as New Hire Orientation and interview training
Participate in recruitment projects and recommend process improvements to increase attraction and retention of highly qualified candidates
Design and create professional job advertisements and promotional materials using Canva that adhere to Shure branding guidelines to effectively attract candidates, expand our employment brand, and showcase Shure’s culture
Develop and support the Shure Intern Program through college recruitment via virtual and on-site career fairs visits and facilitate intern programming and scheduling as needed
Assist in optimizing relevant technologies (i.e., iCIMS, SAP SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter) while introducing new technology ideas to improve the experience for candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters, ensuring clean data and accurate reporting
Maintain ongoing awareness of industry and Company trends, adhere to a high level of confidentiality, and comply with all legal and Company regulations
Support other Human Resources functions and projects as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
0–2 years of recruiting or transferable best practices
Proven ability to proactively identify, engage, and attract candidates to successfully fill career opportunities within established metrics
Previous experience and passion for creating graphic art, ideally using Canva
Strong project management and organizational skills to exercise good judgment, establish priorities, and take appropriate action in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle sensitive and confidential issues by telephone, in writing, and face-to-face
Ability to work collaboratively with Associates at all levels
Computer literacy required; proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
