Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation, review and coordination of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K)
Prepares and reviews monthly account analysis and reconciliation
Establishes, interprets and analyzes complex accounting records of financial statements
Creates journal entries and adjustments
Assists with preparation of financial statements
Prepares analytical review of financial statements during closing process
Handles field questions concerning financial results
Performs monthly financial close and financial statement preparation
Reconciles balance sheet accounts
Assists and provides support with annual external audit and budget processes
Ensures integrity of financial statements. Ensures financial statement compliance with GAAP, company policies and governmental requirements
Qualification
Required
Prior exposure to accounting systems with knowledge of GAAP and SAP
Proficiency with MS office applications, particularly Excel
Excellent evaluation skills and troubleshooting abilities
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Five or more years of financial accounting experience
Preferred
CPA designation preferred (required for upward mobility)
