Responsibilities
Own profitability and revenue growth for the Social Media Division
Protect scopes, manage capacity, and ensure accurate time tracking
Identify opportunities for account expansion, upsells, and deeper client engagement
Partner with the CEO on division planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives
Leverage data and reporting to guide strategic and operational decisions
Spearhead business development of the Social Media Division by identifying new leads and acquiring new clients
Serve as the primary strategic lead and point of contact for social media clients
Lead client meetings, present insights, and proactively guide strategy
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business goals and revenue drivers
Ensure a seamless, five-star onboarding and offboarding experience
Manage ongoing social lifecycle, including content creation, internal review, client approval, and publication
Address client feedback, challenges, and opportunities with confidence and clarity
Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing social media team
Set clear expectations, workflows, and performance standards
Conduct quality assurance on strategy, copy, design, and deliverables
Maintain and optimize project management systems and workflows
Build and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and training resources
Manage internal team members and external vendors (photographers, videographers, graphic designers, copywriters, video editors, etc.)
Lead social media strategy for clients primarily in real estate and medical aesthetics
Stay ahead of platform trends, internet culture, industry insights, and evolving best practices to roll out quickly in a competitive marketplace
Oversee content planning, campaigns, and execution across organic and paid social
Direct and lead on-site or remote content shoots as needed
Own all client analytics, reporting, and KPI performance
Ensure compliance, asset ownership, and account integrity across all platforms
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Design, Communications, or a related field
5+ years of leadership experience within a marketing, branding, or creative agency
Proven experience leading client strategy and managing client relationships
Strong background in social media marketing and integrated marketing strategy
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and uphold high standards
Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
Strong strategic, advisor-minded leader who owns outcomes, balances creativity with business rigor, thrives in a high-trust, high-accountability environment, and confidently leads a high-performing team
Must be located in San Diego, CA with ability to attend in-person meetings 2-6x per month
Preferred
Experience working with luxury brands (real estate or medical aesthetics strongly preferred)
