Mechanical Engineering Supervisor
Confidential company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role will oversee a team of engineers and technicians, managing daily operations and project timelines to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoots and optimizes existing equipment
Provides technical support to production
Designs and builds manufacturing equipment
Researches/recommends new equipment and methods
Improve mechanical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions as well as Duties
Develop and design mechanical components and systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo
Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the performance of designs under various conditions
Create detailed schematics and technical documentation to support project development
Participate in project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks
Collaborate with team members on system design projects, providing insights and technical expertise
Draft specifications for materials, components, and assemblies required for projects
Utilize MATLAB for simulations and data analysis related to mechanical designs
Support the testing and validation of prototypes, ensuring they meet design specifications and safety standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ Years experience in Engineering fields
Proven experience in mechanical engineering or a related field
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in system design and project management
Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks and Creo
Familiarity with FEA techniques and tools for structural analysis
Experience in drafting schematics and technical documentation
Knowledge of project scheduling methodologies to manage timelines effectively
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills
A 'roll-up-your sleeves', can-do attitude that is driven to get projects completed in a timely manner
Degree in engineering, similar technical degree, or equivalent experience
Experience with mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
A mindset of continual improvement and enjoys working in a team environment
Enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to commute to Auburn, ME 04210
Ability to relocate to Auburn, ME 04210 before starting work
Preferred
Proven experience in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred
Experience in drafting schematics and technical documentation is a plus
