Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities on a solar PV sites (ground mount installation)
Lead daily Plan of the Day (POD) meetings
Coordinate union labor crews, subcontractors, and vendors on site
Monitor site safety and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols
Track daily work progress and update project status using Procore software
Troubleshoot field challenges and escalate as necessary to project management
Maintain accurate and detailed records of site activities, material deliveries, and labor hours
Review blueprints and project plans to ensure work is performed to spec
Facilitate clear communication between the field and project leadership
Conduct quality control inspections
This position requires frequent overnight travel to project sites, with work assignments typically lasting a week or longer based on project need
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of solar construction experience as a Superintendent
Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management platforms
Strong knowledge of solar construction methods and safety requirements
Ability to lead and communicate with field crews and subcontractors
