Asst Teaching Professor - Cybersecurity
The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is a premier educational institution that prides itself on academic excellence, research, and community engagement and is actively seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor to join our team. This position will involve teaching undergraduate courses in cybersecurity and computer science, developing new courses, advising students, and participating in departmental activities.

Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate, and possibly cross-listed, courses in cybersecurity and computer science
Developing new courses in cybersecurity and computer science
Advising undergraduate majors
Participating in College and Departmental committees and meetings
Other activities as assigned by the Chair of the Computer Science Department
Guiding undergraduate students in independent studies
Developing and teaching online courses
Qualification
Required
A MS in Computer Science OR a related degree is required at the time of appointment
Experience teaching at least one course as a teaching assistant, instructor of record, or the equivalent is required
Preferred
An earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field or relevant industry experience is preferred
Experience teaching one or more relevant CS courses at the post-secondary level is preferred
