Utility Engineer
JLL is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services. They are seeking a Utility Engineer to support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and enhancements of client site facilities, while collaborating closely with Facilities Managers and the Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities
The Utility Engineer is to perform the following duties under the direction of the Chief Engineer
Repairs on toilet facilities including soap dispensers, registers and radiators
Replacement of lamps and cleaning of light fixtures
Removing ceiling tile
Minor repairs on furniture and floors
Maintaining and/or replacing door hardware
Repair of floor maintenance equipment and venetian blinds
Maintenance painting in equipment rooms, cooling towers and other building facilities
Replacement of air filters in the H.V.A.C. equipment
General cleaning in mechanical spaces and perimeter induction units
Cleanup of equipment in engine room and shop
Miscellaneous handy work requiring the limited use of hand tools
Replace fire extinguishers when needed
Cleaning of air vents and roof drains
Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned
Maintains responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance and technical proficiency
Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace
Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory
Monitor the quality of maintenance work performed by outside contractors
Execution of all other tasks assigned
Maintenance of the equipment will include cleaning, inspecting, and changing parts to maintain the Utility systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels
Review assigned service request and provided accurate details to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems
Verify the accuracy of maintenance data and information for the Preventative maintenance plans
Support team members as needed
Performs other related duties as required or requested
Attend mandatory trainings
Complete Master Control trainings
Help JLL staff, customers and vendors
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Working knowledge of computer applications including CMMS Systems, Email, Word and Excel Skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Preferred
1 year of general maintenance experience in commercial settings
