Responsibilities
Leading the Manufacturing Quality Control Lab to safely & efficiently test and release adhesive, primer, sealant, and tape products
Driving improvements to gain efficiency in the product testing and release process
Coaching and developing a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians to create a respectful environment where everyone’s talents can reach their full potential
Meeting or exceeding the Quality needs of Internal and External Customers by reacting to opportunities as they arise and by removing roadblocks to ensure the team has all they need to be successful
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Seven (7) years of combined experience in manufacturing, industrial, quality and/or engineering in a private, public, government or military environment
Two (2) years of Manufacturing or Test Lab Supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry
Experience working in a Quality role in a private, public, government or military environment
Desired skills/experience include manufacturing, Lean & Six Sigma, continuous improvement, project leadership, statistical expertise, Microsoft Office proficient, excellent written and verbal communication skills
