Senior Coordinator / Manager Digital Marketing and Strategy
Spirit Music is seeking a proactive and creative Digital Marketing professional to lead digital strategy initiatives for their song catalog and songwriter roster. This role blends day-to-day marketing execution with strategic planning to increase catalog visibility and drive engagement across digital platforms.

Responsibilities
Manage a content calendar spanning company brands, social channels, and email touchpoints
Write, edit, and publish engaging social media, website, and blog content to strengthen audience connection and adaptability across formats
Oversee ongoing website maintenance, ensuring SEO-optimized content and up-to-date release features
Create and update roster sheets and links
Support targeted email marketing campaigns to elevate catalog awareness and assist internal teams (A&R, Sync, Digital Licensing, and Marketing)
Contribute to industry engagement efforts through team award submissions, announcements, and active presence on digital professional platforms like LinkedIn
Draft occasional press materials (press and brand partnership experience a plus, not required)
Monitor and analyze music chart trends and campaign results to identify emerging opportunities
Provide regular internal updates on digital performance, playlist traction, and catalog growth
Identify new digital strategies, tools, and platform features that can enhance catalog promotion efforts
Communicating with upper management on progress & new initiatives
Circulate weekly New Release Schedules and communicate with DSP partners about platform features, playlisting, and catalog exposure opportunities
Develop and execute catalog-focused campaigns across social media and other digital channels to highlight key songs and moments
Support playlisting initiatives—creating, curating, and pitching playlists that elevate Spirit Music’s catalog reach
Track and report on music charts, playlist placements, and catalog performance trends
Share performance highlights and promotional opportunities with internal teams including Sync, A&R, and Digital Licensing
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in music marketing, digital strategy, or related roles
Working knowledge of the music publishing and digital rights landscape
Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort handling performance reports and campaign data
Solid grasp of social media marketing, SEO, and email marketing tools
Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills with an eye for brand voice and presentation
Self-motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
Basic knowledge of CMS platforms or web analytics tools
Canva - (Must Have)
Adobe Suite – (Must Have) (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro (experienced)
Mailchimp or other email clients - (Must Have)
Preferred
Experience with press strategy or brand partnerships
Familiarity with playlist pitching processes, DSP marketing tools, and content optimization
