The role involves taking ownership of automation framework architecture and contributing to manual testing as the organization transitions to a more automated QA model.

Responsibilities
Architect, build, and own a scalable automation testing framework
Evaluate and enhance existing automation (Playwright); open to Playwright or Selenium
Perform hands-on manual and automated testing , with a focus on reducing manual effort over time
Execute testing across web, backend, APIs, mobile apps, and payment terminals
Lead API testing efforts and support third-party API certifications
Own mobile testing , including our client’s TouchPay NFC payments app
Contribute to CI/CD quality processes (e.g., Jenkins)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of QA experience with a strong emphasis on automation
Proven experience building or re-architecting automation frameworks
Strong foundation in manual testing and QA best practices
Hands-on experience with API testing
Comfortable testing across web, backend, and mobile platforms
Strong scripting skills
Preferred
Fintech / payments experience (Fiserv or similar)
JMeter experience
Python-based automation (including AI-related testing)
