Responsibilities
Perform reliability-centered maintenance activities for electrical systems, including Preventive, Predictive, and Condition-based programs such as Thermal Imaging, Ultrasound, Motor Testing, and Control loop evaluations
Execute, repair, and monitor key electrical and control processes, including Inspections, Testing & Maintenance (IT&M), and Electrical Safety protocols, while providing engineering feedback to improve automation performance
Support advanced troubleshooting and failure analysis (IFA) across control systems including sensors, PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision systems, servo and drive systems, motion controllers, heating systems, RTDs, MCCs, and thermal probes
Lead training efforts for Line Technicians by implementing electrical and control learning plans and supporting the development of job aids, OCAPs, SOPs, and one-point lessons (OPLs)
Act as a Controls System Subject Matter Expert, partnering with cross-functional teams to refine standards, elevate system reliability, and promote continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Technology, Mechatronics, or related field with 2+ years of related experience
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with electro-mechanical equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment, including Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLC
Preferred
Experience with Servo systems, ControlLogix, Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence), and Epson Robots
In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems (Ignition/Factory talk), Ladder Logic, Profibus, VB Script, RSLinx, HMIs - configuration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting
