Project Manager II - NIDHC
The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee the planning, execution, and management of educational programs and projects for the National Institute for Defense Health Cooperation. Responsibilities
Independently manage all operational elements of one or more concurrent projects. This includes documenting, defining, and maintaining project scope, detailed plan, objectives, schedules, milestones, and deadlines with key stakeholders. Coordinate and schedule all necessary project activities and oversee all event logistics, including venue coordination, technology setup (virtual and in-person), and necessary travel arrangements
Develop, organize, and finalize all necessary project materials (e.g., handbooks, presentation decks, consent forms, evaluation surveys, and advertising content), ensuring adherence to established branding and compliance guidelines. Serve as the administrator for project-specific technical platforms, including managing the Learning Management System (Canvas), which involves uploading course materials, managing participant enrollment and access, and troubleshooting technical issues
Lead the process for achieving and maintaining necessary professional certifications and accreditations (e.g., CME/CEU). Complete and submit all required documentation [including Gap Analysis, speaker Conflict of Interest (COI) forms, and release/recording approvals] ensuring all materials comply with regulatory standards
Maintain accurate records of participant/student progress, grades, completion status, and attendance data. Ensure all deliverables, data, and communications are accurate, professional, and delivered on time
Serve as a liaison for internal and external partnerships, managing all communications and ensuring adherence to formal agreements with participating organizations. Communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including project team members, internal management, external partners, faculty, and subject matter experts. Coordinate and manage logistical and administrative needs for faculty, speakers, and facilitators, including scheduling and material collection
Serve as the primary point of contact for routine participant inquiries (technical issues, assignment clarification, course schedules) and manage communication regarding updates, extensions, and deadline changes
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor, including attending and participating in required training
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required: Master's Degree preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience required
Ability to communicate clearly, work well with others, identify and resolve problems, and deliver results as a team
Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities to meet deadlines
Operational knowledge of a variety of software including but not limited to Google Suite, Microsoft Office, proposal/project tracking, and data analysis software
U.S. Citizenship required for this role. Ability to obtain and maintain a T3 secret clearance
Lifting: Requires lifting materials up to 10 lbs
Ability to stand or sit at a computer for prolonged periods
