Responsibilities

Developing complex, well-controlled fault tolerance high performance system architectures (<40 microseconds one-way latency)
Strong multi-threading & concurrency with lock free algorithms and techniques
Understanding of modern CPU architectures and cache optimisation techniques
Deep networking/messaging knowledge (TCP/UDP/UPC/Multicast/FIX); ability to understand & diagnose packet captures
Quantitative/financial instrument experience
Expert knowledge of market data, matching engines & order routing development
Linux optimisation/kernel knowledge
Understanding of exchange/matching engines/market data/order routing
Expert knowledge across all FX products from price construction through to risk management algorithms
