Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Develop, document, test, and modify new and existing code
Develop, document, test, modify, troubleshoot and maintain new and existing software applications
Develop working knowledge of Ameriprise systems, processes, data, and vendor tools
Learn and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to the development life cycle
Write and maintain development/programming/systems documentation, as well as operations and user guides, as required
Make recommendations for improvements. Continuously improve analysis skills and best practices from prior projects, training and peer learning
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with technology teams, business partners and LDP peers
Participation in Technology LDP Committees
Qualification
Required
Current Senior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Science, Information Technology Infrastructure, or related field
Graduation date of December 2025 or May/June 2026
Commitment to complete the full 18-month Leadership Development Program
Preferred
High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to work and communicate collaboratively with all levels of the organization including team members, managers, and senior leaders
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Prior classroom, project, or work experience with software development/programming/coding
