Responsibilities
Leads department specific training-related projects from requirements assessment to project completion, while adhering to deadlines and quality standards
Collaborates with department leadership, key stakeholders and subject matter experts to support project strategy
Provides support to ensure any changes made to the business processes are adequately tested and communicated
Responsible for the administration of department specific training programs, which include program development, design, program evaluation, and program materials for in-person, online, and blended learning
Delivers department specific training using a variety of instructional methods
Develops and maintains procedure documentation within the knowledge management system to ensure content is accurate and valid based on operational process updates
Mentors, guides, and assists team members
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency
Five years' experience in conducting educational activities for adult learners including competence in instructional design, distance learning, and computer-assisted instructional techniques
Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or an Education-related field from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency
Education/Training professional certification
Experience in a technical field
Experience training adult learners
Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Powtoon, Canva) to create, manage and deliver online courses and training programs
