Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal project managers and engineering team to understand client’s technical, experiential, and financial objectives
Support the design and architecture of complex, scalable network solutions for temporary deployments and events
Act as a technical point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements and translating them into technical solutions, answering questions, and providing accurate information about our deployment/services
Conduct preliminary site surveys to assess existing network capabilities
Coordinate with internal operations team to develop project timelines, deliverables, and implementation of the network
Provide regular status updates and technical briefings to internal teams and clients
Address challenges proactively while maintaining a positive attitude
Create, update, and maintain network and IT system policies, procedures, and documentation
Lead the installation and configuration of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
Event Keynote demonstration engineering support
Drive rapid network deployments, ensuring all components are properly integrated and functional
Implement advanced routing protocols and optimize network performance
Monitor and lead on-site technical interventions spanning event space
Analyze network performance metrics and implement optimizations
Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple technologies and vendor platforms
Configure and manage firewalls and VPNs to ensure data protection
Conduct thorough security audits and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
CCNA or equivalent certification
Bachelor's degree in a related IT field or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 1 year of experience focused on temporary, off-site location, or event-based deployments
Basic knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, etc.)
Experience with Cisco networking equipment and software
Proficiency in configuring and managing networks
Basic troubleshooting skills across multi-vendor network environments
Motivated self-starter with a “team-first” attitude
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient with formal written communications (Outlook, Word, Teams)
Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google platforms (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
Flexible schedule, ability to work weekends, and travel are required
Possess a valid Driver's License and Passport
Ability to legally operate their own vehicle and company vehicles
Work independently under directions and guidelines without direct supervisor contact
Frequent Travel (domestic and international) on average 10-12 days per month
Must be able to sit for long periods. Must be able to stand, bend over, kneel, reach with both arms, lift up to 40 lbs. and walk long distances
