Responsibilities
Make informed and strategic purchasing decisions to optimize inventory levels, incorporating inputs from Sales, our procurement system, and supplier insights
Collaborate effectively with suppliers to develop go-to-market strategies, negotiate favorable deals, and cultivate strong, lasting relationships
Deliver proactive guidance and support to the Sales team, fostering business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction
Respond promptly to disruptions and communicate effectively during scenarios such as shipping delays, material shortages, and price fluctuations
Compile and analyze reports to identify priorities and facilitate informed business decisions
Oversee factory backlog management by adapting to fluctuations in demand and supply dynamics
Review and disseminate critical information and data from suppliers to the Sales team and other relevant departments
Qualification
Required
One plus (1+) years of buying, procurement, or planner experience, preferably for a distribution center
Associate's degree or higher
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Proven attention to detail, problem-solving, quickness, and accuracy
Strong analytical and process-oriented skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to balance multiple priorities, reliably follow through, and work well in a team
Preferred
Purchasing or product management experience in the electronics industry
Experience in supply chain or supply chain management
