Responsibilities
Strong attention to detail, ensuring a heightened focus on safety and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents
Start-up and shut-down equipment, monitor performance, efficiently operate equipment, complete required documentation, complete minor changeovers, assist with major changeovers, and perform cleaning of equipment
Unpack, repack, and perform other tasks to prepare product for E-Commerce
Report issues when they arise - this should be done quickly to minimize any impact on the efficiency of production
Ensure product quality according to specifications and complete basic troubleshooting to resolve quality and performance issues across entire line
Assist on basic preventative maintenance tasks
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area
Train and develop Packaging Technician I associates on technical skills as it relates to safety, quality, and operational expectations
Actively support continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma/GED or relevant experience in lieu of
Must be capable of lifting 0 - 50 lbs
Judgement and decision-making skills
