Senior Staff Accountant
Responsibilities
Lead and participate in month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Reconcile bank accounts monthly and post cash activities to the general ledger
Manage fixed asset processes, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation entries, and record maintenance
Record new debt obligations and related month-end adjusting entries
Support audit requests by preparing reconciliations and providing documentation
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial reporting
Analyze income statements to identify trends and variances
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of US GAAP and month-end close procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and FP&A tools is a plus
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
High energy, curiosity, and initiative-comfortable in a dynamic environment
