Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts receivable for distributor accounts
Apply customer payments accurately (ACH, wire, checks)
Research and resolve unapplied cash, short pays, and payment discrepancies
Manage distributor billbacks and chargebacks tied to pricing and promotions
Validate deductions against approved FOB pricing, contracts, and programs
Proactively communicate with distributors to resolve past-due balances, short payments, and disputed deductions
Maintain accurate AR aging, billback tracking, and supporting documentation
Enter customer orders as needed, ensuring accurate FOB pricing and inventory availability
Assist with AR reporting and month-end close
Qualification
Required
3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
Strong experience with collections, cash application, and distributor deductions/billbacks
Comfortable and confident reaching out to distributors to solve problems and follow up on payment issues
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple distributor accounts
Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite a plus)
Preferred
Alcohol, beverage, or three-tier distribution experience
