Responsibilities
Electronically review/audit vendor invoices for accuracy submitted to corporate by convenience stores in the chain
Submitting payments to Treasury via approval process
Paying vendors via check and electronically
Reconcile vendor statements to submitted invoices for retail price and vendor cost accuracy. Prepare payments/EFTs against invoices
Downloading/Importing and verifying of AP related transactions into accounting system from Excel/text
Manual AP entry for non-trade invoices
Assist w/store paperwork audits and CT Lottery reconciliation
Maintain good relations and communication with other corporate departments
Qualification
Required
Full-time, corporate level accounts payable position
Supports convenience store chain accounting department
Reports directly to Assistant Controller
Works closely with convenience store chain department heads
Electronically review/audit vendor invoices for accuracy
Submitting payments to Treasury via approval process
Paying vendors via check and electronically
Reconcile vendor statements to submitted invoices for retail price and vendor cost accuracy
Prepare payments/EFTs against invoices
