Responsibilities
Independently handle labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial when necessary
Provide strategic legal advice to clients in employment law matters
Conduct advanced legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Take and defend depositions; lead negotiations and settlement discussions
Appear in court and handle substantive litigation proceedings
Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to develop and execute litigation strategy
Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals
Contribute to case evaluation, litigation planning, and team leadership
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active and good-standing membership with the California State Bar
Minimum of 6 years of experience litigating labor and employment law matters
Demonstrated expertise in wage-and-hour, PAGA, and employment litigation
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Proven ability to manage cases independently and lead litigation strategy
Excellent negotiation, client communication, and advocacy skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
