Treasury Services Officer - Gulfport, MS

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a business development plan with the Director of Treasury Services to achieve established goals and objectives
Perform product research and identify appropriate solutions in order to increase sales opportunities
Identify and pursue new Treasury Services opportunities with commercial clients
Collaborate with respective banking centers to cross-sell treasury products and services
Cultivate prospects independently through customer referrals, networking, and participation in professional organizations, social contacts and relationships developed in the community
Develop relationships with customers through calling and customer support activities
Understand client business goals, environments, strategies and industry trends to become a trusted advisor and to identify solutions for customer pain points
Cultivate excellent relationships with internal and external associates while providing a valuable network for referral and cross selling opportunities
Attend frequent training for internal associates, including instructor-led and virtual presentations
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to all levels of customers including large corporate entities. Requires extensive knowledge of products and services available within the treasury and fintech industries, strong understanding of account analysis, and ability to translate and coherently deliver effective solutions to prospective clients
Develop treasury and deposit services analysis pro forma and formal sales proposals for client presentations to further develop and strengthen business relationships
Maintain up to date and thorough knowledge of treasury management sales programs, products and services, as well as applicable federal and state regulatory and compliance requirements
Detailed functional and technical knowledge of existing and developing treasury services, documentation and online technologies. This includes an in-depth working knowledge of all products, services and programs; with demonstrated sales and business development skills
Excellent listening, verbal, written and business communication skills, delivered in person, via phone or email, including effective questioning strategies, negotiations skills, presentation techniques and training delivery skills
Aid management with strategic planning projects including budgeting, process improvement, growth and quality initiatives
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct
Maintain a thorough knowledge of lending policies and lending processes
Perform other duties as requested
Participation in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program
Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Five (5) or more years of sales experience in the commercial banking industry
Superior knowledge of treasury and commercial banking products
Excellent customer service/relations skills
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) recommended
Sales and business development skills recommended
