Responsibilities
Lead application architecture, solution design, and the development of new technologies and integrations within the enterprise ecosystem
Collaborate across all business units and functional areas for organization-wide transformation initiatives
Develop and recommend application architecture aligned with the District’s long-term IT strategy
Lead planning and integration efforts, and standardize processes and technologies to ensure quality and consistency
Design enterprise-level solutions for applications and custom integrations, including major enhancements and interfaces
Define and communicate application strategy across all organizational levels
Establish programming, development, and security standards, and recommend new technologies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Six (6) years of progressively more responsible IT experience, including two (2) years of related architecture experience (architecture time may be concurrent)
Ten (10) years of progressively more responsible IT experience, including two (2) years of related architecture experience (architecture time may be concurrent)
Preferred
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) IT Service Management practices
