Responsibilities

Own EHS strategy, compliance, and performance across manufacturing and test operations
Lead development and execution of EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, DOT, DoD, and applicable state and local requirements
Serve as primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and external auditors
Own environmental permitting, reporting, and hazardous waste programs, including air, waste, stormwater, and spill prevention
Lead hazard assessments, risk analyses, and industrial hygiene efforts; maintain site risk registers and required documentation
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action through completion
Drive safety culture through leadership engagement, training, visibility, and accountability at all levels
Partner with engineering, operations, and facilities to embed EHS into design, production, and sustainment decisions
Build, lead, and develop the EHS team, including resource planning, budgeting, and succession

Required

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience leading or implementing EHS programs in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly regulated environments
Deep working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local regulations
Strong judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence operators and leaders alike

Preferred

CSP, CIH, CHMM, PMP, or similar professional certification
Experience implementing or auditing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Track record of building safety culture while maintaining operational pace
