Responsibilities
Conduct applied research in areas such as machine learning, optimization, computer vision, simulation, or AI for manufacturing and operations
Help design and prototype analytics models and intelligent applications (e.g., predictive maintenance, yield optimization, or anomaly detection)
Develop and evaluate algorithms for real-time data processing, forecasting, or decision optimization
Support development of AI/ML pipelines and assist in integrating models into enterprise data platforms
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure models align with operational requirements and business goals
Stay current with academic and industry advancements in AI, ML, simulation, and big data analytics, recommending opportunities for adoption
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a PhD (graduating 2027) in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Economics or related field
Strong background in one or more of the following:
Machine learning / deep learning / AI model development
Operations research, simulation, or optimization algorithms
Computer vision or image analytics
Predictive modeling or anomaly detection
Big data analytics and distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop, or cloud platforms)
Proficiency with programming and analytics tools such as Python, Pytorch
Demonstrated ability to translate research concepts into practical, scalable solutions
Collaborative mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn from multidisciplinary teams
