Customer Service Representative Part-Time
Upstate Shredding is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as a key point of contact at their recycling facility. The role involves supporting front-office operations, handling transaction processing, and ensuring a positive experience for customers and vendors.
Transportation/Trucking/Railroad
Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers and vendors in a courteous, professional manner
Process transactions, invoices, and documentation accurately and efficiently
Answer multi-line phones and respond to email inquiries
Coordinate with scale operators, truck drivers, and yard staff to support daily workflow
Maintain a clean, organized front desk and office environment
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and scanning
Cross-train in other administrative roles for team support
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of customer service or administrative experience
Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
High school diploma or GED required
Preferred
