The role involves working with a team to provide technical responses, develop hydraulic systems, and design electrical controls.

Responsibilities
Working with a team of Applications Engineers to support customers, internal customer service, internal technicians and field sales
Responsibility for providing detailed technical responses to customer inquiries pertaining to hydraulic or electrical control components or systems. Typically by email or telephone, but also through face to face meetings
Working closely with other members of the Application Engineering team to share and spread product knowledge
Regular communication with field sales team members, to develop customer specific hydraulic and or electrical system solutions
Hydraulic system development and component selection
Hydraulic and electrical schematic development in AutoCAD
Mechanical design ( shafts, adapters, etc. )
Electrical control system design and software application development ( Utilizing a windows based graphical symbols platform )
Domestic travel to customers location for system troubleshooting and or system commissioning and Vendor training
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology or closely related field, or highly experienced candidates may apply
Working with a team of Applications Engineers to support customers, internal customer service, internal technicians and field sales

DC electrical symbols and control methods
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
2D/3D AutoCAD / Inventor or similar
Multitasking (must handle many jobs simultaneously)
Low voltage DC wiring methods and skills
Coding or programming skills
System FMEA analysis
Mechanical FEA analysis
