Conflicts Attorney

LHH is a respected national law firm seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join its centralized conflicts team. This non-practicing attorney role involves conducting research to evaluate and resolve potential conflicts of interest while collaborating with the Conflicts team and the Office of General Counsel.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive research into relevant parties to identify or resolve potential conflicts of interest
Review and analyze conflict reports; prepare clear summaries with recommended resolution steps
Serve as an escalation point for Conflicts Analysts and support them through issue resolution
Draft and analyze conflict waivers, engagement letters, and ethical wall memoranda
Work with responsible attorneys and General Counsel to determine engagement terms
When needed, negotiate engagement terms, outside counsel guidelines, and waiver language with clients

Required

Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
Minimum 2 years of conflicts experience within a law firm or similar environment
Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and administrative teams
