On-Site Services, LLC. is a nationwide maintenance provider for the gas, oil, railroad, and utility industries. They are seeking a Dielectric Testing Technician to perform high-voltage tests and ensure equipment safety and compliance through inspections and documentation.

Responsibilities
Dielectric Testing: Perform high‑voltage tests including AC/DC Hipot and Insulation Resistance on equipment such as hot sticks, bucket trucks, and small electrical tools
Inspection: Conduct pre‑ and post‑test visual inspections to identify damage such as cuts, scratches, gouges, or contamination
Cleaning: Clean tools, components, and test equipment using approved methods to ensure accurate test results
Calibration: Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance on testing instruments
Documentation: Accurately record test data in accordance with ASTM, OSHA, and NETA standards
Equipment Setup: Prepare fixtures, setups, and apparatus required for each test
Reporting: Communicate findings clearly, including any failures, abnormalities, or deviations from standards
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of dielectric testing methods (Hipot, IR)
Experience with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, and Hipot testers
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, datasheets, and technical documents
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and compliance
Able to use Hipot Testers (AC/DC)
