Infrastructure Program Manager

Responsibilities

Assisting the project team with installation activities as needed
Serve as the national program owner for infrastructure delivery across all customers and regions
Establish and maintain consistent delivery standards for:
Cable tray and pathway systems (basket tray, ladder rack, runway)
Fiber trough and overhead / underfloor pathway solutions
Equipment racks, cabinets, and related infrastructure interfaces
Small-to-medium cabling scopes associated with infrastructure delivery
Act as the primary internal point of contact for infrastructure-related questions, challenges, and escalation support
Participate in customer-issued design reviews to validate constructability, sequencing, and execution feasibility of infrastructure systems
Support and guide:
Infrastructure-related RFIs
Submittal reviews and compliance
Interpretation of infrastructure specifications and drawings
Identify potential execution risks early and support resolution before field impact
Support estimating and preconstruction teams by:
Reviewing customer-provided designs for scope completeness and clarity
Identifying constructability concerns, sequencing challenges, or coordination gaps
Supporting quantity validation and scope alignment based on issued drawings
Assist in developing repeatable design review and constructability checklists for infrastructure-intensive projects
Support development and validation of Bills of Material (BOMs) for infrastructure scopes
Coordinate with procurement and project teams to:
Confirm correct materials, fittings, accessories, and supports
Identify long-lead materials and potential supply chain risk
Ensure POs reflect complete and accurate infrastructure scope
Reduce material-related delays, rework, and field inefficiencies through early alignment
Provide program-level support to Area/Regional Managers, Project Managers, and Superintendents by:
Assisting with sequencing and coordination of infrastructure installation
Supporting resolution of complex or first-of-kind installs
Helping align infrastructure execution with broader project schedules
Act as an escalation resource for infrastructure-related execution challenges
Support PMs managing infrastructure-intensive scopes by:
Assisting with interpretation of drawings and specifications
Supporting change management related to design updates or scope growth
Providing guidance on infrastructure-related schedule and cost impacts
Assist with onboarding and mentoring PMs who are newer to infrastructure-heavy projects
Support Operations and Human Resources with:
Defining required skillsets for PMs and Superintendents assigned to infrastructure-heavy scopes
Participating in interviews or candidate evaluations when infrastructure expertise is required
Capture lessons learned and support development of best practices, playbooks, and standard approaches for infrastructure delivery
Participate in national Rhythm of Business forums to:
Identify systemic infrastructure risks across regions
Surface repeat issues and improvement opportunities
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Provide clear, concise program-level reporting related to infrastructure execution health
Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics

Required

High school diploma or GED required
OSHA 10 required
8+ years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure construction
Demonstrated hands-on experience with: Infrastructure pathway systems, Equipment rack and cabinet installation, Associated cabling scopes
Experience supporting: Design review and constructability analysis, RFIs and submittals, Material coordination and procurement alignment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio)

Preferred

OSHA 30 preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
RCDD strongly preferred
BICSI Technician or related certifications preferred
Exposure to multi-site or national programs strongly preferred
Bluebeam preferred
