Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating with suppliers, reviewing designs, and integrating with other NG integrated product teams to ensure adherence to, and implementation of requirements
Actively participate in design reviews, review/approve subcontract deliverables and gauge supplier readiness to enter contractual milestones
Transition to test and verification oversight to assist suppliers through a successful qualification event

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 12 years of experience; 10 years with master's degree; 8 years with PhD
Minimum of 8 years of experience formally leading engineering teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Experience with Major Maintenance Vehicle (MMV) development including requirements generation, conceptual/detail design, design reviews, and/or testing
Experience with Major Maintenance Vehicle (MMV) requirements analysis, trade studies, SERD generation, design solutions, acquisition, test, and validation
Must be very proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Be able and willing to travel up to 20% as a part of the role

Structural Analysis Experience
Experience integrating multiple engineering specialties and stakeholders to achieve and comply with program requirements
Ability to communicate/collaborate and achieve consensus with groups from diverse organizations and backgrounds
Prior experience interfacing with prime contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnel
Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
