Responsibilities
Lead high-volume payroll operations supporting 10,000+ employees across the U.S. and Canada
Manage 50+ EINs and 100+ pay groups across weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly payroll cycles
Oversee and develop a 24-person payroll team
Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and wage and hour regulations
Partner closely with HR, Accounting, Benefits, and external vendors
Support ongoing payroll system integrations (Oracle and Dayforce)
Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and strong service levels in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
ACTIVE CPP certification – required
7+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment (10,000+ employees)
3+ years in a payroll leadership role
Multi-state payroll experience (California required)
Canadian payroll experience required
Experience leading large teams through change and ambiguity
Preferred
Public company experience preferred
