Responsibilities
Lead the Global Project Showcase: You will own the end-to-end design and execution of our end-of-summer intern showcase. This involves defining the format, managing the timeline, coordinating with global stakeholders, and executing the final event
Program Management: Act as the central point of contact for project logistics, ensuring deadlines are met and communication flows between interns, managers, and the UR team
Event Planning & Logistics: Support the planning of various intern events (socials, executive speaker series, and workshops), handling the 'behind the scenes' details that make events successful
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field
Interest in HR/Talent: A genuine desire to learn about the recruiting lifecycle and talent development
Agility & Plasticity: We are building something new, which means things change quickly. You must be comfortable 'rolling with the punches,' adapting to ambiguity, and maintaining a positive attitude when plans shift
Strong Organizational Skills: You are detail-oriented and can keep track of multiple moving parts without letting things slip through the cracks
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you feel comfortable coordinating with people at all levels of the organization
Preferred
Project Management Knowledge: Coursework in Project Management or working toward a certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, or similar)
Event Experience: Previous experience planning events (campus organizations, previous internships, or volunteer work)
Tech Savvy: AI Native with familiarity with project management tools or HR tools/ATS
