Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior designer to develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations that align with client requirements and project goals
Prepare and manage detailed project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence
Coordinate the ordering of materials and furnishings, expediting deliveries to meet project timelines and ensuring quality control
Assist in space planning and layout design for various interior spaces, optimizing functionality and aesthetics
Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures in accordance with project specifications and budgets
Prepare detailed design drawings, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents
Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, budget tracking, and on-site coordination and management of installations and photoshoots
Qualification
Required
Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
1-3 years of professional residential design experience
Strong grasp of the design process and project delivery
Excellent oral and written communication
Strong presentation skills, including space planning, hand and digital drafting
Knowledge of furniture, fabric and finishes
Proficiency in AutoCAD required
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively
Deadline driven, self motivated and goal oriented with a high attention to detail
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Preferred
Knowledge of Studio Designer, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, Google Workspace, Dropbox, TickTick and other softwares a plus
Familiarity with San Francisco Design Center and local vendors
