Manufacturing Engineer
Applied Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team in Ripon, WI as a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, you will optimize production workflows, identify safety risks, lead process-improvement initiatives, and support capital projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities
Optimize production workflows using hands‑on manufacturing experience
Identify safety risks and implement hazard‑mitigation solutions
Lead process‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste and boost efficiency
Support capital projects, including equipment upgrades and facility enhancements
Assist with fixture development to improve consistency, reduce cycle times, and enable new product launches
Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners across southern Minnesota
Contribute to projects that impact communities in Ripon, Appleton, OshKosh, and the surrounding areas
Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required
Knowledge of fixture design, implementation, and optimization
Experience in Lean manufacturing techniques, capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis
Capable of working independently and as a team member
Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
Effective verbal and written communication
Desire to work on a variety of projects
Preferred
2+ years of engineering experience in a metal manufacturing environment preferred; internships and co-op experience can be considered towards experience
Creo and/or AutoCAD experience a strong plus
