Intellectt Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in medical device development, specifically catheter-based systems. Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems and circuitry for catheter-based medical devices
Support electrophysiology, RF, sensing, and signal acquisition systems within catheters
Perform schematic design, component selection, and PCB design (rigid/flex preferred)
Conduct bench testing, verification, and validation per design control requirements
Troubleshoot electrical issues during development, manufacturing, and field support
Support integration of electrical components into catheter assemblies
Prepare and maintain technical documentation (requirements, design specs, test reports)
Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 60601 , and internal quality standards
Participate in design reviews, risk management (FMEA), and change control activities
Support supplier qualification, component obsolescence, and design changes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in medical device electrical engineering
Hands-on experience with catheter-based or minimally invasive devices
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
Experience with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, or equivalent)
Experience with electrical testing, debugging, and failure analysis
Familiarity with medical device design controls and documentation
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred

Experience with EP catheters, RF ablation, sensing electrodes, or imaging catheters
Knowledge of flex circuits, microelectronics, and miniaturized designs
Experience with EMI/EMC testing and mitigation
Exposure to firmware integration and system-level testing
Experience supporting products through NPD and sustaining phases
