InternVyStar Credit Union is seeking talented interns to join their Information Security team, focusing on Application & Product Security. Interns will gain hands-on experience in securing applications, vulnerability testing, and customer identity management while working on various projects.

Responsibilities
Expand knowledge of Code Security Scanning, Application Security Posture Management, API security, Web Application Firewalls
Work with container and service-oriented security architecture for cloud-based services
Work with a modern SDLC including CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, API economies, and container deployment
Work within agile and waterfall project methodology
Analyze data in Excel and/or Power BI
Promote and advocate for code security awareness to internal development teams
All employees and business units, as first line of defense, are expected to proactively help identify, assess, manage, and report risks within their domain of work
To enhance a healthy risk culture and support our growth for good pillar, employees will maintain vigilance in safeguarding our operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates
The Risk team serves as the second line of defense by providing risk oversight and credible challenge whereas the Audit team serves as the third line of defense by providing risk assurance

Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university
Rising College Juniors, Seniors or Graduate Students
Strong written and communication skills
Flexibility to work with multi-disciplined teams
Strong use of Microsoft Office Tools
GPA of 3.0 or above
Participation in college organizations and the community
