Responsibilities

Supporting Commodity Managers and Procurement Engineers in defining key suppliers for capacity studies
Requesting, collecting, and documenting supplier information required to complete capacity studies
Following up with suppliers via email, phone calls, and meetings to gather required data
Scheduling and participating in onsite supplier visits to witness capacity studies and complete documentation
Reviewing capacity study information with suppliers and Commodity Manager or Procurement Engineer representatives
Supporting analysis of supplier capacity and alignment with supply chain growth and business expansion strategies

Required

Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, including Engineering or Supply Chain Management. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a self-directed manner and manage multiple tasks or requirements simultaneously
