Mid LevelPTR Global is seeking a motivated ISP Network Engineer to join their growing fiber network organization. This role will support network operations, planning, and engineering initiatives for a fiber-based ISP, focusing on troubleshooting and maintaining network performance.

Responsibilities
Support network operations and maintenance for fiber-based ISP services
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across fiber infrastructure
Monitor network performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and field teams to support network projects
Assist with capacity planning, network expansion, and infrastructure upgrades
Maintain accurate network documentation and records
Participate in on-call rotation (if applicable) and support incident response
Work with vendors and contractors to support network deployment and maintenance
Qualification
Required
Experience working in an ISP or fiber network environment
Strong understanding of fiber network infrastructure and architecture
Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred
Experience with network routing, switching, and fiber transport technologies
Knowledge of OSS/BSS systems, GIS mapping, or capacity planning tools
Familiarity with Power BI, Excel, or other reporting tools
Previous experience in network design, planning, or engineering
