Responsibilities
Analyze custodial collateral data to identify and categorize critical exceptions
Review collateral image data to verify document accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with loan sellers and custodians to resolve outstanding exceptions and reconcile discrepancies
Maintain accurate and organized collateral records to support residential loan transactions
Generate and distribute internal and external reports detailing collateral status and exception resolution progress
Support senior team members in audit preparation and client deliverables
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a strong preference for experience related to collateral, document review, or loan operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data management, lookups, and reporting)
Ability to work efficiently within multiple loan management systems and databases
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
