Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer
Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements and is seeking a Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to join their Test and Evaluation organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full product lifecycle within a software development and test environment, utilizing your expertise in cyber engineering to resolve complex problems.

Responsibilities
Performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Serve as the product owner, planning and prioritizing work within the Agile framework of Planning Increments and Sprints
Foster a culture of continuous growth and development, both for yourself and your team
Analyzing total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and sustainment
Performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline and 8 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related professional/military experience
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, prior to the commencement of employment
Must be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status
Must possess a current DoD 8570 Level 2 Certification (i.e. Security+ CE or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience managing operating systems and platforms, e.g., (Windows Sever, desktop environments, Redhat Linux, VMWare, etc.)
Demonstrated expertise in PowerShell scripting, Ansible and/or Terraform
Preferred
Profound knowledge of access controls and experience in utilizing tools such as Splunk, Nessus, and Trellix EPO to effectively detect and respond to security incidents; application of Secure Technical Implementation Guides and asset configuration management
Experience working with DevOps Processes, Physical and/or Cloud Infrastructure
Systems administration experience, to include VMWare, vSphere, VDI, ESXi, Redhat Linux, Windows 11, Windows Server, Dell OS10 and/or Cisco IOS
Understanding of enterprise-level computing platforms involving virtualization, distribution and high availability
RHCSA and CCNA Certifications
Expertise with Dell and Cisco L2 switch configuration and administration
Experience working in an Agile Framework utilizing agile principles of flexibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Experience participating / implementing Agile techniques such as Sprint planning, Kanban and Scrums
